For instance, these lighters use butane, rather than lighter fluid, which helps to ensure you only taste that cigar. Butane has almost zero impurities, which means that it does not have a taste or smell. You’ll be happy to know that using these lighters ensures you only taste tobacco.

Other options are certainly available for your needs as well. You can use matches, or you can use matches in conjunction with cedar shavings. Some diehard cigar lovers swear by cedar shavings, mostly because they offer flavor enhancement for cigars. Of course, using these is not possible when you’re out and about, or when you’re smoking in a breeze. Therefore, butane lighters are not only an important consideration, but the only way that you can ensure you are able to light up even in windy conditions.

As you can see, using that Zippo to light your cigar is probably not the best idea in the world. If you would prefer to taste your cigar, rather than the impurities in the lighter fluid, then you should opt for a butane lighter. These are available from a number of manufactures online and come in a very wide range of configurations and styles. With minimal trouble, you can easily find a lighter that will work for your needs.
