A sometimes overlooked problem would be the power supply plug itself. If it is plugged into an extension cord, surge protector, or power strip, the amount of voltage has a possibility of being incorrect. If this is the circumstance, plug the power supply directly into the wall outlet.

If none of these approaches produce results, if possible, try using a different power cord and power supply unit with your console. If the console is still unresponsive, the matter is with the console itself.
