If you rent a car with unlimited mileage, and are planning to travel to another location where you will return the car you may be surprised to learn that car rental companies charge extremely large fees if you are not returning the car where it was rented.

If possible you will want to try and avoid renting your vehicle from an airport car rental, as these will tend to cost you more money due to the convenience. If you are staying at a hotel nearby the airport you can often receive a shuttle to the hotel and rent a car from a local rental company. This option will cost you much less than renting from the airport.

When renting a car it is very important that you carefully read the rental agreement before signing for the car. If you don’t you may end up paying more then you thought you would, without any way to dispute the extra charges.
