Language Barrier

Carry ID Proof

Wherever you go, carry an ID proof along with a photograph with you. Present your ID proof, which can be passport, driving license, citizenship proof or tourist card, when asked by authorities.

Belongings

* Used sporting equipment

* Reading material

* Prescriptions

* Clothes, footwear and toiletries

* Cassettes and records, maximum 20

* A small musical instrument

* A set of skiing equipment, fishing equipment and tennis rackets

* Not more than three liters of alcohol beverages, along with 50 cigars or 400 cigarettes, for tourist of 18 years of age or above

* One still camera along with a movie camera

Forms To Be Filled

You have to fill two forms for your trip to Mexico. The first one is for temporary visa, which is usually distributed at the airline ticket counter or in the flight. The other one is called Hacienda, which is meant for the Customs and Taxation. Both the forms have to be filled with black ink pen.

Carry Mexican Peso

Have some Mexican peso in your pocket for places, where American Dollars are not accepted. You can pay through MasterCard, Visa and AmEx credit cards and traveler?s checks as well.

Take care of Hygiene

It is very important to take care of the hygiene factor while on trip. Don’t drink the tap water in fact, go for bottled water or sufficiently boiled water. Even before eating any fruit and vegetable, it is important to wash these in a purifying solution. Peel them first and then cook.

Photocopies

Carry photocopies of tickets and a list of traveler’s check with you as well.
