California Homeschool Requirements Upheld
Sep 15th, 2008 • Category: Homeschool RequirementsBeing in Alabama, I sort of forgot about the landmark case going on in California about the homeschool situation. Seems, one of the courts attempted to uphold a mis-read law stating that homeschool parents have to be certified. And, that very soon, they would hold all of the parents accountable for the truancy of they children currently being homeschooled.
Well, chalk up a victory for the Homeschoolers, and surprisingly, by the California Court of Appeals. They ruled that parents that are “fit” can continue to homeschool their children.
